This workshop aims to bring to together early-career and senior researchers working on virtually all fields in urban and regional economics using any kind of unconventional, big data sources with a high level of spatial granularity. These sources include (confidential) data from firm collaborations and online platforms, satellite/aerial imagery, GPS and call detail records (CDR), historical archives, credit card transactions, street-level photography, sensor outputs, transport data, or detailed historical maps and data.

Supported by: KonsortSWD project “Access to firm data” and CRC TRR190 Rationality & Competition (https://rationality-and-competition.de/).

Paper submission for this workshop is now closed and decisions of acceptance will be sent shortly.
